A busy week...

Ho, ho, ho...Things are shaping up to be pretty hectic this week. Here is a quick rundown of what is going on;

- 11:30 to 12:00 approx, nutrition break for School of Rock singers, then last minute sound check in the gym
- 1:00 pm Holiday concert for all grades. Parents who can make it are welcome.
- 6:30 pm S of R singers gather in room 106 for evening concert
- 7:00 pm School of Rock Holiday concert evening performance
Wednesday - Special seasonal art project - some volunteers will be needed. Get in touch with Cheryl or Ray if you are able to come in for 10:30am
Thursday - Summit Stock exchange and outdoor Phys Ed
We are visiting Summit to observe their annual stock exchange day. Summit students have worked to "earn" virtual money in past weeks, and will invest this money on commodities in their stock market sessions throughout the day. News events and supply/demand change the values of the stocks as the activity progresses. Students will experience how the market fluctuations effect investments. On the return we will take time for outdoor phys ed. Permission forms due back by Wednesday. Volunteers for the walk over are needed.
Friday - Morning skate at Dulude park. See student agenda for time. Volunteers needed to tie laces.
- pm Gift and Take - The class has asked to take part in some sort of holiday gift exchange/Secret Santa. This form of gift exchange has anyone who wishes to take part bringing in wrapped gifts (6 dollar max we decided). Ask your child about how this exchange works. It is a big hit each year, and the students are really good natured about the give and take aspects of it.
- Regular dismissal time
