Grade 6 Macskimming trip!

Recently the grade sixes of Churchill have gone on their grade six over night at Macskimming! It was a great trip that turned out to be everything we had hoped for and more! As soon as we got there we got started making tea and learning about where all of the ingredients came from, we even boiled the water our selves with hot rocks from the fire! then we crushed corn with a giant mortar and pestle using our big grade 6 muscles! Then we went for a great walk in the woods. then after that we still had enough energy to play the fur trade game! Im sure anyone from room 207 or room 308 can tell you some fun stories from that;-) that night we went to bed after a energetic time by the fire singing some crazy songs and enjoying each others company. the next day we learned to make fires!!!
