Living Museum Information

Some parents have been asking questions about the Living Museum, so here is some information that has been shared with students in our division meetings.

Living Museum 2014

The Living Museum event will be held in the school Gym on Thursday, January 30th, 2014. We have the Gym reserved for the whole day. Kinder and Primary classes will tour the Museum. Families and community members are invited to tour the Museum as well.

Each Junior class is participating. A teacher will be in charge of monitoring and assessing each project. Teachers, please make sure you have added all your students’ topics to the Living Museum topics Master list.

Students will be given large amounts of time to prepare for this project in class over the coming weeks.

Timeline

-research - class periods for research week of the 13th

-work on projects week of Jan 20th - dramatic/visual elements

-on Jan 24th - some kids who are finished/ready will visit Andrew/Owen and Ray’s classes to do a Fish Bowl

-week of Jan 27th (Mon-Wed) Fish Bowl - with your “supervising teacher”

-visual part of presentation must be completed by Jan 28/29 so that Ray can identify any areas of need or last minute changes

-first person dramatic presentation in the gym
