Hanging around in Room 308...

WOW, is our class ever mobile! Any recent visitor to Room 308 will have noticed the amazing 3d artwork dangling from the ceiling. We have a few projects on display over our heads. Come on in and take a look at the Peace Doves that we created to go with our peacemaking theme around Remembrance day. The fantastic research and writing that went into our Human Body, and Living Things cubes are only part of what make that project such a hit. A quick look up at the collection of mobiles we created with the cubes will be sure to catch your eye due to the excellent effort that went into the organization and artwork on each of them. And for a short time our class is housing a special student made project that was inspired by, and created for, Anna MacDonald. Anna is a Churchill student who is undergoing treatment for Cancer, and is not able to attend school at the moment. Inspired by the story of Sadako, students from all grades have been working to fold one thousand paper cranes. This paper crane mobile will hang in Anna's room at home, and will be the first of two, with the second scheduled to be hung in the front lobby of our school. It seems like our class is just a great place to hang around in.
