Schoolwork Update

The fair trade label project we started just over two weeks ago is wrapping up. The students have created some remarkable product labels, showing their understanding of fair trade concepts. All final labels are due to be finished this Monday, and will be on display right away. Drop in and have a look. In the coming weeks keep your ears and eyes open for our student vote (in the days preceding the national election) and a poster project on government (5's) and Canada's world connections (6's). Reading responses (purple notebooks) are going home for the third week this week, and this will be our second full week of homework (red duotangs). Please encourage your child to read each day, and to start their homework early in the week so that they can seek help if questions arise. All homework is due on Thursday this week as the Friday is a PA day. Regards, Ray
