First Days

Just a quick note to mention that we have had a great two days in Room 308. We have done some work, made new friends, and settled in pretty well. We would like to welcome Sofia, and Bastian to our school. Sophia is new to the school, but knows the area and some Churchill students from before. Bastian is brand new here from Germany. We are excited to have new students in our school and class, and everyone is working really hard to help them fit in.
So far we have had a number of forms returned for our field trip. We need them all in by Friday to confirm numbers, and so I can purchase tickets for the bus. Please indicate if you can come along as a volunteer. I need at least six adults if we are going to be able to go on OC transpo. Thanks for your help.
The learning curve is steep in 5/6, and we are done with most of the introduction activities, and are ready for our first full day of programming tomorrow, so I hope everyone gets a good night of rest. So far the whole class seems keen. I hope they can keep it up.
Regards, Ray
