Media Literacy Homework

This week all students in the class have taken home their Media Literacy Scrapbooks, and they have the task of finding two pictures that show action (from magazines, newspapers, or any type of media) and write five different captions for each. They were reminded that many confused our work on subtitles with captions. Captions are should be at least two sentences long, and describe what is happening in the photograph. This is a continuation of a series of activities we have completed in class lately, so it will be interesting to see what everyone comes up with.
Media Lit. books are due back in class by Friday.

I asked for students to check out the math activity on the previous blog, and to comment on it. Only four people have so far. Please check it out, and let me know you have by leaving a comment on it. Stay posted for more.....
