Room 308 Celebrates Earth Day

Today we watched a video, highlighting the natural and cultural wonders of our earth, called Baraka. We manipulated at statistics dealing with the earth and our environment (ask one of us how many species go extinct in a day, week, month, or year). We also were inspired by the words of a 12 year old Canadian girl, and wrote our own pleas and "rants" about the environment. The day ended with us looking at environmental quotes.
