The Last Day...

Well, it is here already. The last day. Summer is starting. I hope that all of you have safe, fun filled, happy summers (with sunshine!). I would add relaxing, but I just spent every weekday for ten months with your kids, so I know that would be a lot to hope for (hee hee hee).

Good luck to those who head off to middle school with their children. I have told the class, and I tell you as well, that if there is anything I can do to help with the transition, or in any way down the road, please let me know. I would be happy to help any former Churchill student out. For the grade fives who stay for grade six, as of right now all of them will remain with me, unless changes are made to staffing at the school with increased enrollment over the summer, so I will see you all in September.

The last day, the class has decided, will be a half day Kindergarten theme (leave the way they started I guess) with sing a longs, carpet time, blocks, games, some show and tell, etc. It will also be hat day/stuffed animal day and we will have an electronic game period. It should be a fun end to the year. I hope to squeeze some fun science experiments in too.

Take care and I hope to see or hear from you soon.

Cheers, Ray
