What a week!

This week is sure shaping up to be jam packed! Today we had a traditional folk music trio from the prairies in to perform. They got the whole class up dancing and singing to country reels and traditional dances.
All week long we will be preparing for the upcoming School of Rock concert by creating posters and organizing gear.
We will be continueing to explore our friend the triangle in math class (2d and 3d representations of it).
Friday is the volunteer tea. Invitations went home to every family in the middle of last week. The event will run from 7:30 to 8:15 am on Friday morning, in the Churchill lobby. This is the chance for the teachers to treat our volunteers, so come on out for a cup of tea or coffee, or some light refreshments.
Weather permitting, our class will perform our 'flash mob' on Wednesday afternoon during the second recess (12:55 approx). This is a performance based on some of the social justice issues we have looked at this year. For those who can not drop by at this time (it will be a quick five minute show) we will be videotaping it, and showing the performance at the 'Room 308 movie night" in June.
Finally, and most importantly, the product of over a month and a half of hard work will be realized this Friday when all of the good copies of our biographies are handed in. Every student has at least one yellow envelope for each copy they want to have bound. Anyone wishing to have theirs bound in a hardcover by our book binder in Smith's Falls needs only to bring their final, printed pages, numbered and in order, in the envelope provided on Friday.
Anyone who needs theirs printed out for them at school should bring it in on a memory stick and we can print it here (prior to Friday would be preferred for this).
The following is an ordered list of all the pages our class could think of including in the biography. Most will vary, and the titles or order of chapters will change, but this is roughly how it should be organized. Entries with a double asterix (**) are those ones that are optional, and not all students will choose to include those.
