Each student has a homework assignment for this weekend. They are to research their zodiac sign, find the dates that correspond to this sign, and what this sign is thought to mean about people born under that sign.
Today we watched three different video clips.
The first was as part of a discussion on healthy eating choices. Students were able to identify that the main idea from the video was that people need to think about what they are eating, and where it came from. It also explains what makes organic food different.

The other two videos were talking about our current topic in the space unit we are looking at. They deal with Astrology. One is by Carl Sagan, and is old, but filled with good information. The other is Bill Nye.
