Things have been hectic for the past few weeks. This week will be no exception.
First off, this week's reading response takes on a different format. The students were given a handout with guiding questions for this week's response. They are responding to an Advertisement of their choice (a print ad from mags or newspapers). They have two weeks to complete this (due to the shortened weeks this week and next).
We have a special Remembrance Day sharing this Wednesday starting at 9:45 in the gym. Our class will be leading a shared reading during this.
We need as many volunteers as possible for the trip to the cenotaph Wednesday afternoon. We leave at 1:15.
This Friday and the following Monday are PD days.
We are currently having security issues at the school. Parents are reminded that classrooms are closed and locked at the end of the school day. Custodians are not allowed to open them up to allow access for any reason after the end of the day.
Skate forms will be going home soon. Our first date for skating is on November 27th.
Andrea (our CAT teacher) has been working with the class teaching them the basics and strategies of bridge over the past few weeks. They will be experts in no time. Ask your child for a lesson.
